Why Mosquitoes are dangerous and how to deal with it

This mosquito issue, actually important. Especially in this rainy season.

There are more than 2,700 species of mosquitoes worldwide. It turns out that not all mosquitoes bite humans or animals and suck their blood. Only female mosquitoes suck the blood of living things because they need protein to develop their eggs. At the same time, male mosquitoes get nutrition or food from plant juices, for example, flower nectar. The reason is that male mosquitoes do not have a mouth shape that allows them to pierce the skin of humans or animals.

How Long Does a Mosquito Live?

The mosquito life cycle from egg to adult generally takes 8 to 14 days. Mosquitoes have four stages in their life cycle, starting from eggs, larvae or larvae, pupae, and finally becoming adults. Approximately the length of a mosquito egg is no more than 1 millimeter. The number of eggs ranges from 300 or more and is arranged in a line or close together, like forming a raft. The female mosquito will lay her eggs in a damp place or dry pond and then incubate them for some time. After being hatched, mosquitoes will turn into larvae or larvae whose way of moving is similar to that of fish. Larvae are easy to find in clean water, such as bathtubs. Then these larvae will turn into pupae and are ready to become adult mosquitoes. The change of the pupa into an adult mosquito is marked by the release of the pupa from the cocoo.

Mosquito Life Cycle

An adult mosquito weighs approximately 2 to 2.5 milligrams and has a flight speed of about 1.5 to 2.5 kilometers per hour. Agus Kardinan’s book Mosquito Repellent and Repellent Plants takes seven days for mosquito eggs to turn into larvae or larvae. In their life cycle, mosquito larvae will experience skin changes or instars four times in a period of seven to nine days. After that, the larva will turn into a pupa for two to five days and then become an adult mosquito. Mosquito lifespan
The humidity of the surrounding air dramatically influences the life span of mosquitoes. If the air is more humid, then the mosquito life span can be slightly longer. However, in general, the life span of mosquitoes is only a matter of days or months, making the mosquito one of the shortest-lived animals in the world.

How To Deal With it?

The most important thing is to keep your home clean, especially from cleanliness and other dirt. However, an effective way to deal with the problem of mosquitoes in large numbers is, of course, calling for professional services that can help you use tools and chemicals. However, be wary of companies that are not credible and have not obtained a permit. Our pest control company already has many permits and licenses. The drugs we use are also from Bayer, so they are guaranteed to be safe for the environment.
